A new generation of Saltiga reels is now available in a smaller size!

Arguably the most anticipated release in Daiwa's recent history, the 23 Saltiga represents the pinnacle of Daiwa technological advancements.

To meet the needs of all anglers, new sizes 4000/5000 and 6000 are now offered. This reel specific to sea fishing is the first to benefit from

AIRDRIVE DESIGN technology around the key parts which are the rotor, the basket handle, the spool and the axis for a reduction in weight,

an increase in resistance, robustness and reliability.Improved lifespan, disconcerting lightness, incredible rotation and fluidity:

the Saltiga 23 promises you robustness and peace of mind. Perfect for powerful fishing for bass or pike in the Baltic,

its lightness makes it the ideal reel for your shore fishing trips or your trips abroad.

These new characteristics of the AIRDRIVE DESIGN concept are obviously based on the MQ monocoque frame,

a unique symmetrical machined part giving the reel increased durability.


AIRDRIVE ROTOR

The Airdrive Rotor has been designed to allow the reel to maintain excellent resistance of this key part while lightening the reel and
reducing the rotational inertia by 16% compared to the previous version. As a result, when the crank rotates,
the reel undergoes less stress and offers incredible smoothness of operation.

AIRDRIVE LEASE

Advanced technology on the angle of the pick-up arm at the entry of the line into the pick-up roller and the lightening of the basket handle
made possible by the reduction in the diameter of its section - 33% compared to old models.

AIRDRIVE SPOOL

New major technology from Aidrive Design, an improvement of the spool in a single block, simplified design including a flared lower part
preventing the line from tilting on the axis, a lip which promotes the exit of the line by limiting the friction and a redesigned noise ratchet to increase the sound of the noise maker.

AIRDRIVE SHAFT

Improved axis support and operation. The vertical rotation of the crank is converted by the pinion into horizontal rotation in order to
set the axle in motion in a linear forward/backward direction. The classic movement of this linear rotation is without direct contact thanks to
the axis passing through the pinion. The latter is equipped with collars and bearings to promote the transmission of
movement to the rotor by the crank and increase the feeling of fluidity and silence.
