Technology:
- HPC (High Pressure Carbon): Shimano's High Pressure Carbon technology produces stronger, more responsive blanks. During the curing process, pressure is applied to the blank surface to evenly distribute resin throughout the carbon fiber, resulting in enhanced strength and consistency.
- XT Carbon: XT Carbon is used throughout Shimano's rod range, with the number following XT indicating the carbon fiber quality. Higher numbers represent stronger carbon. In some models, different types of carbon are combined to achieve the desired action (e.g., XT60/40).
