After its LT and LT ARK versions, the Certate is available in a SW version (Salt Water: saline waters). The Certate is a popular reel for sea anglers and is now a benchmark for compact, powerful and robust spinning reels. With the arrival of the Certate SW available from size 8000 to 18000, the Certate family is now a complete range that we offer to sea fishing enthusiasts from bass to tuna.

Power and robustness

A real replacement for the Catalina, the Certate SW is equipped with the Monocoque frame, just like the Saltiga 20. This one-piece machined aluminum structure gives the Certate SW solidity and great robustness. The Monocoque Body also allows the reel to be equipped with a wide Tough Digigear control wheel, with a large number of teeth for a significant power gain. Another point in common with the Saltiga 20: the ATD (Automatic Tournament Drag) brake ratchet is very loud to allow the angler to adjust the button with precision, not to mention the increase in fishing pleasure. Sensations guaranteed! 

Light and fluid

Thanks to its Air Rotor in ZAION carbon, the rotation of the reel is smoother, lighter: a real gain in comfort for lovers of strong fishing. A Magsealed bearing in the pick-up roller as well as the Magsealed oil present around the main axis of the reel improve the sealing of the Certate SW against corrosive salt elements. On recovery, rotation comfort is unique. In combat, the roller offers perfect fluidity so as not to disturb the progressiveness of the ATD brake.

Combat handles

The quick-ratio models (H and XH models) have a soft-touch oval crank with great grip to handle battles against the biggest specimens calmly and comfortably. The slow ratio models (P models) are equipped with a round EVA handle, particularly suitable for vertical fishing. 

The Certate SW is therefore positioned in perfect compromise between the Saltiga 20 and the Certate LT 19. It is a front drag reel designed for active and fast casting fishing. Perfect for going to face the tuna on our coasts and for exotic fishing of powerful fish: tuna, trevally, etc.
